Install the VS Code Extension

Prerequisites

• Agent Harbor installed and available as ah.
• VS Code 1.107 or newer.
• A local daemon, either already running with ah webui --background or started automatically by the extension.

CLI Install

Use the editor installer:

ah editor install vscode

The VS Code Marketplace and Open VSX publishing pipeline is implemented, but live marketplace publication depends on external publisher account secrets. If a release has not been published yet, install a locally built VSIX:

just ide-build-vscode-vsix
code --install-extension ide-plugins/vscode/dist/agent-harbor-vscode.vsix --force

Verify

Open VS Code and run Agent Harbor: Focus Sidebar from the command palette. The status bar should show AH connected after the daemon is discovered.
