Install the Emacs Package

Prerequisites

  • GNU Emacs 29.1 or newer.
  • Agent Harbor installed and available as ah.
  • A local daemon from ah webui --background, or daemon auto-start configured.

The MELPA recipe artifact and installer support exist, but upstream MELPA publication is still an external review step. Use direct clone for a local install:

ah editor install emacs --method direct-clone

Then restart Emacs and run:

M-x agent-harbor

MELPA

After the MELPA recipe is accepted upstream:

M-x package-install RET agent-harbor RET

The CLI also supports:

ah editor install emacs --method melpa

Doom Emacs

ah editor install emacs --method doom
doom sync

Enable the repo-local module as :tools agent-harbor.

Spacemacs

ah editor install emacs --method spacemacs

Add agent-harbor to dotspacemacs-configuration-layers.
